Prayer Warrior Wednesday

“But at the evening offering I arose from my humiliation, even with my garment and my robe torn, and I fell on my knees and stretched out my hands to the Lord my God;” (Ezra 9:5 NASB)

I’ve decided to start “Prayer Warrior Wednesday” on this blog. Each week I will post a scripture on prayer and ask for any prayer requests you may have. I will also post requests and ask for your prayers as well. I have received some really intense prayer requests over the last several weeks and it’s comforting to know someone is praying. Please post any requests in the comments section and I will pray. Also, I’ve added another page called “Prayer Journal” to this blog. I’d like to use that for requests, updates and answered prayer.

Please join me in prayer this week for the people who have been devastated by Sandy in the Northeast. My family lives there and was not hurt by the storm but so many lost their homes. The pictures of the destruction are heart wrenching.

Lord Jesus, Thank you for hearing our prayers.

  1. I think this is a great idea. I will be praying for those hurt by the hurricane.
My husband and I have a new business- The Farm On Holly’s Hill- an herb nursery and organic gardening supply business. Please pray that we will grow in our business, have increased sales, and make wise decisions.
    Thanks,
    Holly
